Never, ever clock watch- it will not serve you or your little one and it may even prevent you from falling back to sleep when you can. Cover the clock and focus on yourself and your baby instead.
Prioritize hydration- this is the top no.1 in the book not just because it is essential for your milk supply but because it is vital for uplifting your mood and enabling cognitive functioning! Keep a bottle beside your bed to sip overnight and/or drink in the morning!
F*%$ the housework-I am not suggesting that you live in squalor- but there are days when forcing yourself to stay up late to clean the hot mess that is your living room will do more damage than good. Reach out to your support network, outsource if you can afford to do so & be kind with yourself.
