Motherhood Is… …

As my sweet baby grows older, I often stare out of the window (usually with a cup of coffee) with grand anticipation for what is to come next as she slumbers. So excited for the NEXT moment, the smiles, the giggles and the demands to know “why” to even the simplest of topics and objects. The piles of toys, the tussles of pairing different shoes, the delight of the counter spills and most importantly the joys in watching this little independent being grow into her own.

Through this, I am often reminded of how grateful I am to God for allowing me the opportunity to serve in the role of her Mom, of the one to guide her through life and to nurture the love of God, of peace and of abundance. I pray she never lacks, not emotionally, physically, financially or with the worldly presence.

Simplicity is the now, and so grateful to stay in a sweet and secret place of being able to enjoy each and every moment with her!

I wanted to share with you a few versus that touched me as I walked through studying the art of Motherhood… …
